Design & Build Quality
The design of the EP51 earbuds is actually quite good, made with high quality aluminium and plastics.
The aluminum earbuds use magnets which keep the them easily locked and can be worn around the neck as a closed necklace and avoid from slipping down.
The silicone winged end tips of the earbuds designed to add extra support for the earbuds and prevent them from falling down easily when walking or running. They seem quite steady and did’t fall on fast walking or running when tested.

Performance & Sound Quality
Meizu’s EP51 sound quality is really good, even the at this low price point this earphone provide high quality sound.
Not surprising as it’s supporting aptX digital audio compression algorithm technology, which enhances the wireless sound quality.
This alone gives a huge advantage for the EP51 over many others earphones (at a higher price) which don’t support it.back to menu ↑
Battery Life of the EP51 Earbuds
According to it’s specs it support over 6 hours of music, although on many cases battery life depends on different variables and use cases, we did get around of about 5.5 – 6 hours on a regular use no problem.
Pretty average time among earphones within this price range. Not bad but not great.
Charging usually took less than the 1.5 – 2 hours as advertised by the manufacturer.back to menu ↑
